They made me do it. I knew it was wrong, but if I didn't I wouldn't have been seen as a 'team player' you know?

Do you have any idea how hard it is to be one of the founders of a startup, trying to keep your ass in line so your investors don't replace you with some Wharton or Harvard buddy of theirs?

People were *complaining*. When people complain, subscribership goes down. We don't hit our numbers. People get sacked, usually the founders. I'm just trying to cover my ass here, but I have to tell you I feel like a schmuck.

    I understand your dilemma. Recently, it seems like Dave has been trying awfully hard to try to figure out where the boundaries actually are. I'm sure it must be getting really annoying by now, both for whomever it is that keeps rebuilding him AND for the tribe police. This last lifetime, I'm fairly certain that he never even posted anything. I wonder what might happen if Dave (and the rest of us) had some good, solid rules to follow?
